Cadagon Design

I had some questions on the design of a cadagon during the Glazing Techniques class so I thought I would post this image.  It is just like the salt shaker design just bigger.

Hope it helps,

John, I make the spout a little taller so the teapot can hole more. Also, it is pretty easy to make the spout and bottom separate from the bottomless body, and then assemble later. Thanks for the photos!

Lee,

You are right. That was made as a copy for a 13th century Oil Spot wine service, so it had to be that way.

Sorry -- I did but my initial search did not yield anything. Anyway, I read the post again and tried searching for Cadagon Teapot and did find something. Thanks, anyway!
