This is what a Cone 6 glaze book looks like in process....if I could take a picture of excruciating pain..I would!

I have a fair amount of c.6 books, but I know yours will be worth owning. Please keep us updated with the publish date - naomi
Where do I send the money?
Please put me down for a copy! Your cone 10 book is the best - so I am sure your cone 6 book will be as great if not greater.

Probably. There is a pattern.....

That's great news John - I hope the glazes also work at 1180oC as that is the firing temperature of our beautiful cool ice clay in Australia. If I fire it higher it slumps (I work with very thin clay). Hard to find a good range of cone 5-6 recipes, not all of H&R recipes work well at the lower temp, and Bailey's are 1240. Looking forward to hearing of the release date. Regards

Ellen,

You may be out of luck as that is the low end of cone 5 or a high cone 4. 1186 C is cone 5 or 2167 F . I am firing most of my stuff to 2232 F or 1222 F. There will be stuff in there at cone 5, 6, and 7 but you will probably have to adjust glazes to get that range. Hopefully there will be inspiration for those testing the you can get great results but it still will require work to test.

Tonight I was just talking about the great edition you wrote for cone 10 glazes and wouldn't it be great if you did the same fine edition for cone 6. How far from publication are you? Huge endeavour but many of us are eagerly waiting!
I cant wait! I use your book often, and have been wishing for your take on cone 6.
I cant wait- I use your other book all the time, and have been hoping you would write a cone 6 book.
